    No, software cannot change the settings. Software can make a request only. What is the problem you are having?

    This is weird now its back at x16 ?!
    I am Folding on 3x 9600GT and the 2 bottom ones revered back to PCI-E x1 ,

    and i didn't change a thing
    the result was ..that i got half the speed i used to have, when Folding....

    Its back as it should be so no idea what was going on here but thank you for reading mate
