    No results for 4890?

Since I just ordered my 4890 I went ahead and installed 3dmark06 again. I wanted to see what kind of performance boost it gave me going from an 8800gt to a 4890. After I got my results (not that impressive :( ) I decided to browse for some comparable systems using a 4890. I couldn't find any, so I finally did a search for any system using a 4890 but it still said none were found. Was the ORB having issues last night or is there really nothing to compare it to?

I would guess it is still to new (GPU) reason you can't find any HD4890...

Out of curiosity, what were your scores?

I guess you have compared the result to review sites with otherwise similar config. Your processor might be the bottleneck.

I haven't received the card yet. I ran the benchmark with my 8800gt so when I do receive the 4890 I can see what type of improvement I received. I'm sure the cpu will bottleneck the 4890 but I wanted to upgrade to a 1GB card. The CPU will be the next upgrade.

My score with the X2 and 8800GT was something like 9884 I think. Lemme see if I can find my compare link..

Make sure you uncheck the FM approved drivers and official results only boxes. I had the same problem when I was looking last week. After I did those two things I found a ton of scores. Also FM recently updated the ORB to allow 4890 to not be listed as a "generic GPU" so that should no longer be an issue and as far as I could tell the change seemed to be retroactive to scores that were already posted.

Here's a link to my overclocked HD4890 vantage score in case your interested

I dont think you filtered your search correctly because there are TONS of results for the 4890 .. at 20 results per page .. I quit looking after 7 pages
