Woking on my post processing a little bit, what do you think?

So, I've been working on my post processing a little bit which is probally my weakest area and thought I'd get some input on it.

    Original (Click for fullsized)

    Thumb resize.

    Retouched (Click for fullsized)

    Thumb resize.

    What do you think?

liked the original looking a little bit warmer, also around the eyes look a little bit softer for some reason.

you seem to have done something to her fingers aswell but not entirely sure.

Other than that it's a nice cleanup of the hair etc, thats probably the only bit you want to be worried about (and a few other fiddly imperfections) the rest is fine imo

I gave her a more natural look (IMO) and fixed some of the wrinkles in the background. Hope you don't mind, JD, i'm sooo bored.

    EDIT : Removed.

I did cool down the WB a little bit on the second one, the first one looked a little too warm to me.

I did burn her fingers a little bit too, but looking back it looks like I might have done a little too much.

I'm not a fan of the skin tone you gave her, but the background smoothing you did was spot on what I'd like to do, I just wasn't sure the best way to go about it. Care to share how you did it?

Yeah you're right. I think her shoulder looks kind of weird now... color tone doesn't match her face. also i think it's too cold. I'll have another go at it.

Shadows/Highlights (color correction/midtone contast etc) and spot healing tool for the wrinkles. CS4.

In all of the shots where the hair has been cleaned up, she appears to have an aura or halo because of it.
