It is sad, but I think the game had very little to do with it. When I was a kid, I did the EXACT same thing, only it was just a 1 story building. Me and my brother made parachutes out of trash bags and found out that doesn't work. We had no access to video games back then. I think they probably blamed Bugs Bunny in those days (very early 1980's).

People always want to blame someone... at least, the media FEEDS off of it. They always ask who's fault it was and must place blame on someone. It is always someone else fault. Nobody can take responsibility for their own actions. It is a downfall of society. Liberalism, I believe it's called.

BUT, let's say you had died from the jump, because you landed on your head or whatever, you still couldnt blame your parents. I mean, ALL kids do ALOT of stupid stuff because they want to explore and try things out. Its normal. And kids want to try the stuff they see elsewhere. Whether its in computer games or Bugs Bunny or on the streets.

Now, you definately cant blame the video game or the wrestling "sport" in this case, but I also think you cant blame the parents. Some guy in this thread said you cant leave a 9 year old alone. WTF??? Of course you can. And should. Kids need to have time on their own. My mom went shopping and Me and my sister stayed at home when we were much younger than that. It was never a big deal. Kids play outside without their parents standing right next to them every minute.

Sometimes **** happens, and in my opinion this case was just a shitty coincidence, a child's will to try something new went bad. This is horrible and we all hope this never happens, but I wouldnt blame any party here.

Seriously, the kid was making a parachute, kids do that. I tried making a make shift parachute when I was 9, I however was sensible enough NOT TO JUMP OFF A 10 STORY BUILDING TO TEST IT!
