How big is the iso and the install out of interest?
x64 version is 3.19GB and x86 is about 2.2GB.
Edit: my x64 windows folder is 12.0GB

Yes but XP users believe XP is still noticeably faster then Vista and if Win7 beats XP in almost every program then I don't care about the numbers, it's going to be fast.
One thing incredibly impressive with Win7 is it's ability to play MP4 video straight off the bat natively without any need for any other codecs, and with full hardware acceleration to boot.
Check this out, running the WipeoutHD trailer downloaded from the PSN store, it's a 1920x1080 AVC with a 20Mbps bitrate, Windows 7 plays it with like 1 or 2% CPU usage...
Really nice, and I've yet to find any of my videos it won't play natively either.
This could be the fastest windows adaption of all time, we are reaching apple like hype levels.
