We were out on a team event tonight (team building stuff) and one of the women in my team told me about her friend who would like to meet me blabla. Then the showed me pictures of her, and wow, is she hot.

Long story short, I have the opportunity to meet her, but I'm unsure whether thats a good idea or not. Even if everything goes well, a team member would know things about me I wouldnt want a member of my staff to know. And she will know them, as they are best friends and women cant keep secrets anyway.

So the unwritten rule I'd brake would not be "never f**k the company" but rather "never f**k the company's friends".

What do you think?

My folks, who I greatly underappreciate, are about to cash out all their life savings + bank loan for a laser surgery to repair 2 out of 4 painful bulging disks in cervical area that are causing stenosis, severe pain in neck, upper back, arms, shoulders, shoulder blades, hands, fingers, head (migraines), affects memory, mood, etc. - all for me [blush][blush][blush]. I had this neck issue for at least a decade if not more.

Low-back surgery removed all pain in lower body, except where the incision was made (some scar tissue remained). This is a different laser surgery that is not invasive because traditional neck surgery would cause more problems than it would fix. I would become a stiff-neck, oddly moving like a robot and have problems swallowing.

Even though all pain will never go away, neurological pain will be gone! I'll be able to hold posture correctly, exercise/lift weights again, and play video games all day long without getting so tired! I'll have to get a job, but I try not to think about that...

I swore that if I can get rid of my pain surgically, then I will forever stop with all painkillers of any type, except for NSAIDs/Tylenol. Coming off of them pills will be oh-so-not-pleasant experience.
